The NT5 is a small-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone, supplied here as a single microphone, built for general instrument recording and sound reinforcement. Its cardioid pattern minimises pick-up from off-axis sources — leakage, monitors, other instruments — while a full 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and low-noise output circuitry suit it to drum overhead miking, stereo instrument capture and vocal recording. It runs on +24V or +48V phantom power, and the package includes a WS5 windshield, an RM5 mic clip and a padded zip pouch.
