The NT55 is a compact condenser microphone with interchangeable capsules, supplied here as a single microphone with both a cardioid and an omnidirectional capsule included. A 3-position pad switch adds headroom when capturing loud, peaking signals, and a 3-position low-cut filter switch cuts low-frequency noise. It's designed to accurately reproduce vocals and general instruments in recording and sound-reinforcement work, suited to applications such as vocals, guitar, drums and cabinets.
