The Lumix G X Vario PZ 45-175mm f/4-5.6 ASPH. POWER O.I.S. is a power-zoom telephoto for Micro Four Thirds, covering a 90-350mm full-frame equivalent range with electronically driven zoom adjustment for smooth, controllable zooming during video. Maximum aperture runs f/4-5.6 through the zoom, with an overall aperture range of f/4 to f/22. Two aspherical elements and two ED elements, combined with a floating element system, control aberrations across the zoom range, and Nano Surface Coating reduces ghosting and flare. A stepping autofocus motor with internal focusing keeps focus fast and quiet during shooting, and POWER O.I.S. stabilises handheld footage at the long end of the zoom. A rounded 7-blade diaphragm completes the build on the Micro Four Thirds mount.
