The Lumix G X Vario PZ 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Power O.I.S. (Black) is a super-compact retractable pancake power-zoom for Micro Four Thirds, giving a 28-84mm full-frame equivalent 3x zoom range. Maximum aperture runs f/3.5-5.6 through the zoom. The barrel measures approximately 61mm in maximum diameter, retracting to about 26.8mm in overall length when powered off — close to the size and weight of Panasonic's 20mm pancake prime. Nano Surface Coating reduces ghosting and flare, Power O.I.S. stabilises handheld shooting, and the autofocus motor operates silently during movie recording. This colourway is finished in black, on the Micro Four Thirds mount, and suits shooters who want a compact everyday standard zoom that stays on the camera between setups.
