The Lumix G X Vario 12-35mm f/2.8 II ASPH. POWER O.I.S. is the standard workhorse zoom in the Lumix G X Vario line, covering a 24-70mm full-frame equivalent range for Micro Four Thirds. A constant f/2.8 maximum aperture holds through the zoom (aperture range f/2.8 to f/22), giving consistent exposure and depth-of-field control from wide-angle to portrait length. The optical formula uses four aspherical elements plus one Ultra Extra-Low Dispersion element and one Ultra High Refractive Index element, with Nano Surface Coating applied to reduce ghosting and flare. POWER O.I.S. stabilises handheld shooting, and splash-, dust- and freezeproof construction with a rounded 7-blade diaphragm supports use in the field on the Micro Four Thirds mount.
