This system pairs the OConnor Ultimate 1040 fluid head with a flowtech 100 tripod, supplied with a carry handle and case as a complete lightweight kit. The 100mm ball head supports up to 45 pounds of camera and accessories at a centre of gravity 5 inches above the camera platform. The 1040 shares its operating features with the rest of the OConnor Ultimate line, so operators can move between lighter and heavier cameras without relearning the head — a kit that travels for a solo operator and holds its place on a crewed shoot.

Stepless counterbalance

The counterbalance system helps keep the camera from tilting forward or back on its own and holds it in the position the operator sets, without extra effort to hold it there. It is a stepless system, continuously variable from the maximum weight the head can support all the way down to zero.

flowtech dual-stage tripod

The head rides on a lightweight dual-stage flowtech tripod that reaches a maximum height of up to 60". Rubber feet give it grip on hard studio and location floors.

Carried as a kit

The system ships with a carry handle and a padded bag, so the head and tripod pack down together for transport between locations.
