The REN-1 is a dual-stream HD/3G-SDI to NDI|HX encoding card that slots into a Cradle RU01, RU03 or RU03S frame (pairs with the RU01 chassis drafted in this same batch), adding NDI|HX-compatible SDI-to-IP encoding to the rack. It supports NDI|HX 1.0 and 2.0, encoding video up to 1080p60 in H264/AVC or Motion JPEG, and streams it out over its RJ45 Ethernet port. The card takes one SDI video input plus a matching SDI video loop for local monitoring, and a 3.5mm analogue audio input to embed audio from an analogue source alongside the video.
