The C1 Mini Video Converter is a one-directional converter that takes a single channel of SD/HD/3G-SDI video and converts it to HDMI without damage, splitting the embedded SDI audio and re-embedding it into the HDMI output so audio and video arrive together. Conversion runs through FPGA-based image processing for 10-bit quality, with HDMI output up to HDMI 1.4. A set of onboard controls -- image safety frame, audio column and centre cross overlays -- switch manually on the unit itself, with no computer or companion app required. Per Kiloview's specifications it has one 3G-SDI input and one HDMI 1.4 output, with no network interface or NDI function -- a straightforward SDI-to-HDMI signal converter, distinct from the IP/NDI converters elsewhere in the Kiloview range.
