Blackmagic's DeckLink IP HD 3G-SDI combines a single RJ45 10G Ethernet connector, carrying two input and two output video channels, with two further bidirectional 3G-SDI ports, each independently configurable as input or output — all with embedded audio, for capturing and playing back 10-bit uncompressed HD video up to 1080p60 into SMPTE ST2110 IP-based broadcast systems. The card conforms to the ST2110 standard for transport, synchronisation and description of video, audio and ancillary data over managed IP networks, keeping sources in sync on a common PTP clock, and includes NMOS protocol support. It supports an extensive range of codecs — including ProRes, DNxHR/DNxHD, XDCAM and AVC-Intra — and works with all popular production software such as DaVinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere. The PCIe 4-lane, Gen2 card is compatible with Mac, Windows and Linux, and Blackmagic's Media Express software is included.
