The Hi5-Plus routes a 3G/HD-SDI signal to an HDMI monitor, outputting a 30-bit Deep Colour RGB signal to carry the full colour range available on the SDI source. Free AJA MiniConfig software lets you select 8 of the 16 SDI-embedded audio channels to pass through to the HDMI output, with a 0- to 7-frame audio delay available for synchronising audio to the output video; two channels of RCA analogue audio output run alongside the HDMI audio for separate monitoring. It also handles PsF to progressive conversion. An international power supply is included, and the whole converter is configured through AJA's MiniConfig software. It's a simpler, HDMI-monitoring-focused alternative to AJA's HDR-capable Hi5 converters, without 4K or 12G-SDI support.
