De-embedding audio from an SDI signal is the whole job of the Teranex Mini SDI to Audio 12G Converter, which accepts any SDI signal up to Full 4K DCI 4096x2160p resolution on its 12G-SDI input and spreads the extracted audio across a diverse set of outputs. Two channels of analog audio or up to four channels of AES/EBU digital audio come out over full-size balanced XLR ports, alongside two channels of unbalanced analog on RCA or optical S/PDIF over TOSLINK — enough range to feed mixers, decks and audio monitors directly.
