Quad-Link SDI sources connect straight into 12G-SDI equipment through the Teranex Mini Quad SDI to SDI 12G Converter, housed in the low-profile black enclosure common to the Teranex Mini range so it sits unobtrusively in a studio or post-production rack. The unit takes four auto-switching SDI inputs for Quad-Link conversion, and provides two single-link 12G-SDI outputs, auto-switching across SD, HD, UHD 4K and DCI 4K signals with automatic input detection, and carries 24-bit, 48kHz audio. Control is via DIP switches or the included Ethernet software, with a USB 2.0 port for firmware updates, or an optional front-panel controller with a built-in confidence monitor, sold separately.
