Running the opposite conversion to the Quad SDI to SDI model, the Teranex Mini 12G-SDI to Quad SDI Converter takes a single high-resolution 12G-SDI source and distributes it to Quad-Link SDI equipment — useful anywhere a video wall or multiple displays need feeding from one source, in the same low-profile enclosure as the rest of the Teranex Mini range. One 12G-SDI input and a 12G-SDI loop output are joined by four 3G-SDI distribution outputs, multirate auto-switching between DCI 4K, UHD 4K, HD and SD, with up to 16 channels of broadcast-quality 24-bit, 48kHz audio supported. Ethernet connects the unit to the included control software, and the unit can also be powered via PoE.
