The ROI DVI to SDI Mini-Converter takes a DVI signal and converts it to SDI output, bringing computer video sources into a digital video workflow. The included MiniConfig software (Mac and PC) lets you select a Region of Interest from the input and set how that region is scaled to the output, with full control over image scaling, aspect ratio and frame-rate conversion; the converter syncs to MiniConfig over a USB connection to the host computer. A DVI loop-through supports local monitoring, and an HDMI adapter is supported on both the input and the loop. A reference input is provided, and audio can be taken in via a 2-channel 3.5mm TRS analogue input or an 8-channel HDMI-embedded input, for 24-bit digital output over 2- or 8-channel SDI-embedded audio.
