The ROI-DP DisplayPort to SDI Mini-Converter brings DisplayPort computer signals into an SDI workflow, in a compact form factor. AJA's free MiniConfig software (Mac/PC) lets you select the Region of Interest you want converted, set how it's scaled, and assign the aspect ratio and frame-rate conversion. A DisplayPort loop-through output keeps a local DisplayPort monitor connected while the SDI extract runs, and a genlock reference input locks the SDI output signal. Audio can come from the DisplayPort signal's 8 embedded channels or from a separate 2-channel 3.5mm analogue input, for embedding into the SDI output. A universal power supply is included, making it a straightforward way to route a computer's DisplayPort output into a broadcast or AV SDI signal chain.
