The ROI HDMI to SDI Mini Converter takes an HDMI source — typically a computer's HDMI output — and lets you select a Region of Interest, scaling it in hardware to your working resolution. Because the cropping and scaling run through the converter's own hardware, it can broadcast part of a computer screen without the on-screen menus and clutter of software capture, and video quality stays high through the process. HDMI and SDI outputs run in parallel, with embedded audio passed through to both. The converter supports SD, HD and VESA resolutions, carries 24-bit multi-channel audio with analogue audio embedding, and is configured over USB via AJA's Mini-Config software.
