The PAK 1TB SSD Module is a rugged solid-state drive from AJA, pre-formatted as HFS+ and encased in a protective aluminium housing built to stand up to the rigours of a production day. It can easily be reformatted to exFAT in the field if the workflow calls for it. The module is purpose-built for AJA's current Ki Pro Ultra 12G recorder, with legacy compatibility for the original Ki Pro Ultra and Ki Pro Ultra Plus, plus the Ki Pro Quad recorder and the AJA CION production camera, and it's built around an enterprise-level SSD drive rated for up to 10 times the endurance of consumer media. It also retains data through an unexpected power loss, a combination that gives it a long usable lifespan on set while guarding against the data loss that an occasional power interruption can cause during a production day.
