This ARRI LPL Mount replaces the mount on a Sony VENICE or VENICE 2 camera for a secure fit, letting ARRI Signature Prime LPL lenses be used on it while taking advantage of the image quality those primes are built for. The mount is factory calibrated to standard and includes seven shims for adjusting flange depth to get the sharpest image on your particular camera. It also allows the lens to interface with the camera to pass lens information — though your Signature Primes need to be running SUP 2.1 (software update package) before the Sony VENICE or VENICE 2 can read the Cooke /i metadata from the lens. A port cap is included.
