For a Canon RF-mount camera — including the RED KOMODO and RED V-RAPTOR, which share the RF mount — this adapter lets you fit ARRI LPL-mount lenses, including Leica Thalia LPL-mount lenses. It's designed to enable focusing to infinity, and is also compatible with ARRI's LPL-to-PL Adapter, letting you switch from standard PL lenses to LPL lenses. A shim set is included for adjusting the flange focal distance between camera and lens, helping keep focus accurate; being a passive mount, it doesn't pass lens information through to the camera. A 1/4"-20 support thread on the base lets you attach a lens support to take strain off the camera mount, and three lever tabs give grip for rotating the adapter's lens lock, with one tab removable for use on a camera cage. An LPL-mount cap is included to protect the camera's interior whenever no lens is mounted.
