The FE PZ 28-135mm f/4 G OSS is a full-frame E-mount power zoom lens built for professional capture in 4K formats and beyond, pairing with a full-frame 35mm camera or a Super35 format camcorder for cine-style imagery. A constant f/4 aperture, adjustable through to f/22, holds exposure steady through the zoom range. Powered zoom runs quietly at an adjustable speed with direction reversal, and Sony's Smooth Motion Optics keep focus shift, lens breathing, aberration and image shift to a minimum while zooming or focusing during a take. Individual rings handle focus, iris and zoom separately, and Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation is built in. The lens carries a dust- and moisture-resistant design in a compact, lightweight housing.
