Fitted into a PCIe 3.0 x8 slot, the Twin25G PCIe card puts two SFP28 fibre ports directly inside a Mac Pro tower, Windows PC or Linux server, each good for up to 25 Gb/s with compatible devices — about 187.5GB a minute. Drop it into an x4 slot instead and one of the two ports stays active. With link aggregation (teaming) support, the two ports can be combined for up to 50 Gb/s throughput with compatible network hardware, useful on a shared-storage server carrying several editors' traffic at once. SFP28 transceivers ship with the card for both ports, and full-height and low-profile brackets are included so it fits a range of chassis. It's built to work with Windows 10/11, Mac and Linux systems.
