The Manfrotto MVK502AM-1 pairs the MVH502A Pro Video fluid head with the MVT502AM tripod and a padded carrying bag, a complete support kit for compact camcorders and DSLR video cameras. The 502A is a fully featured professional head with sturdier construction than the 501HDV it advances on, and a 75mm half ball for precise levelling on the tripod. Manfrotto's patented bridging technology, inherited from the 509 and 504 heads, keeps the pan friction control intuitive to set and protected against knocks, alongside independent pan and tilt locks and drag for each selectable across a continuous range from zero to maximum. The head carries a payload up to 15.43 lb and its counterbalance supports up to 8.8 lb, while the balance plate's 3.27" range corrects for uneven loads from matte boxes or unusual rig configurations.
