The Ultra Stream SDI is a single-channel SDI streaming encoder that takes an SDI source and streams it directly to CDNs such as YouTube Live, Facebook Live and Twitch, or to a custom RTMP server, encoding up to 1080p60. The SDI input accepts signals up to 2048×1080 (2K) at 60 fps, with an SDI loop output that passes the unaffected input signal through at full resolution for local monitoring. The encoder can record the stream to a mobile device or to a USB drive plugged into its front-panel USB 2.0 port at the same time as it streams. Onboard push-button controls start and stop streaming and recording directly from the unit, while full setup and control run through the Magewell mobile app for iOS and Android. It connects over Ethernet or Wi-Fi, and carries a microphone input and headphone output for local audio monitoring.
