The USB Capture SDI Plus is a one-channel 2K capture device that connects to a computer over USB 3.0. Loop-through BNC input and output let you view the video on a downstream device while it's being captured into the computer. A line-in audio input captures audio directly without picture, or the audio can be de-embedded straight from the SDI stream. Onboard video processing runs a 160MP-bandwidth pipeline covering cropping, scaling, and deinterlacing (weave, blended top-and-bottom field, top-field only, or bottom-field only), with auto or manual selection of input and capture aspect ratio across three conversion modes — anamorphic, cropping, or letterbox/pillarbox padding. Colour-format conversion supports RGB, YCbCr 601 and YCbCr 709, with auto or manual selection of quantization and saturation range across limited, full and extended-gamut settings, plus frame-rate conversion and vertical flip/mirror. It captures SD, HD, 3G and 2K-SDI signals with embedded audio.
