The Ultra Stream HDMI is a single-channel HDMI streaming encoder that takes an HDMI source and streams it directly to CDNs such as YouTube Live, Facebook Live and Twitch, or to a custom RTMP server, encoding up to 1080p60. The HDMI input accepts UHD and DCI 4K signals up to 60 fps, so PCs or games consoles with 4K output can feed it directly with no extra conversion hardware, and an HDMI loop output passes the unaffected input signal through at full resolution for local monitoring. The encoder can record the stream to a mobile device or to a USB drive plugged into its front-panel USB 2.0 port at the same time as it streams. Onboard push-button controls start and stop streaming and recording directly from the unit, while full setup and control run through the Magewell mobile app for iOS and Android. It connects over Ethernet or Wi-Fi, and carries a microphone input and headphone output for local audio monitoring.
