The Pro Capture HDMI 4K is the single-channel HDMI card in the Pro Capture range — a low-profile PCIe x4 board capturing HDMI video with embedded audio. Its HDMI receiver handles pixel rates up to 297 MHz, with an adaptive HDMI equaliser, customised EDID support, and full colorimetry — taking 8-bit RGB/YUV 4:4:4 up to 297 MHz, 12-bit YUV 4:2:2 up to 297 MHz, and 10/12-bit RGB/YUV 4:4:4 up to 170 MHz. It extracts AVI, audio, SPD, MS, VS, ACP, ISRC1, ISRC2 and Gamut info frames from the HDMI signal, along with audio-formation and channel-status data, video-timing information, 3D-format information (side-by-side half, top-and-bottom and frame-packing modes), and Sony/Canon DSLR timecode. On-card processing covers cropping, scaling, de-interlacing, colour-format conversion, frame-rate and aspect-ratio conversion, and video OSD composition.
