The LiveU LU810 HEVC Multi-Camera Encoding Server puts four camera feeds through a single 1RU rackmount unit, encoding and transmitting low-latency video from a mobile location such as a production van or remote facility into the LiveU Central cloud platform.

Four-camera HEVC encoding

H.265 HEVC/H.264 encoding runs across up to four SDI cameras, via one 12G-SDI and three 3G-SDI inputs. The server handles up to 1080p60 video input and transmission, with up to 16 audio channels available with a licence upgrade, upgradable to 4K60 video I/O with an optional licence, and transmits at up to 30 Mbps.

Flexible connectivity and bonding

Dual Ethernet ports carry low-latency LRT, alongside dual-band Wi-Fi, an SD card slot and HDMI output. In its fixed-location build the LU810 connects over wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi; the vehicle build adds internal 5G/4G modems for cellular bonding.

Continuous field-to-studio operation

The LU810 covers live broadcast, on-board SD-card recording, store-and-forward at varying bandwidth, 24/7 persistent transmission and FTP bonded transfers, working within the LiveU Central cloud platform alongside optional DataBridge, Audio Connect, IP Pipe, Tally Light and Video Return field technology.
