The LiveU LU2000 is a 1RU rackmount decoder server that receives HEVC/H.264 video contributed from the field and distributes it at the studio end, decoding low-latency feeds sent from a mobile location such as a production van or remote facility within the LiveU Central cloud platform. It outputs video via a single SDI feed, with an optional upgrade to dual or quad SDI output for distributing to more destinations. Alongside HEVC/H.264, the server supports LiveU Matrix, RTMP and NDI output, and connects over three 2.5GbE ports plus one 1GbE port using LiveU's low-latency LRT protocol. Built for studio operation, it forms the receive/decode side of a LiveU bonded-contribution chain, working within the LiveU Central cloud platform.
