The LiveU LU610S is a 1RU rackmount HEVC encoding server built to encode and transmit low-latency video from a mobile location such as a production van or remote facility into the LiveU Central cloud platform, handling a single SDI/HDMI camera feed rather than the LU810's four.

Single-camera HEVC encoding

H.265 HEVC/H.264 encoding runs over a single 12G/3G/HD/SD-SDI and HDMI 2.0 video input, with up to eight audio channels. The server handles video up to 4Kp60 10-bit HDR, with 4K unlocked by an optional licence, and transmits at up to 30 Mbps.

Reliable modem bonding on demand

In its fixed-location build the LU610S connects over two LAN ports and two Wi-Fi links; the vehicle build additionally carries up to six internal 5G/4G modems for cellular bonding. Dual Ethernet ports carry low-latency LRT, alongside dual-band Wi-Fi.

Mobile server operation

An SD card slot and HDMI output support on-board recording and monitoring. The LU610S covers live broadcast, SD-card recording, store-and-forward transmission, 24/7 persistent transmission and FTP transfers, working within the LiveU Central cloud platform alongside optional DataBridge, Audio Connect, IP Pipe, Tally Light and Video Return field technology.
