The LiveU LU300S is a bonded-cellular contribution encoder for live coverage on the move, pairing 4G and 5G transmission with broadcast-grade 4K 10-bit HDR video in a small, portable field unit. Reliability and flexibility are what count on fast-paced live events and remote (REMI) productions, and the LU300S carries video over LiveU's patented HEVC bonding technology, drawing on several IP connections at once so a live feed holds together from even the most challenging cellular-coverage areas. This configuration is supplied with 4G modems.

A 2.2" display, an intuitive interface and multiple carrying options keep a field crew moving, giving an operator a convenient set-up whether they are working solo or as part of a larger crew.

Bonded cellular for a reliable link

The unit bonds up to six IP connections — four cellular, Wi-Fi and LAN — through LiveU's patented HEVC technology, with built-in 5G support available as an option for the highest bandwidth and ultra-low latency. It supports up to 30 Mbps, enough to reliably transmit a live feed from even the most challenging cellular-coverage areas.

Broadcast-grade 4K over 12G-SDI or HDMI

Video comes in over 12G-SDI or HDMI, and the LU300S transmits up to 4Kp60 10-bit HDR for optimal colour depth and richness. To support richer audio production, the unit carries up to eight audio channels, giving a production room for wider mixing alongside the picture.
