This kit pairs a LiveU Solo PRO SDI encoder with two LiveU Global USB 4G/LTE modems and a MAX430 hard case with foam made for the LiveU LU300S and Solo PRO. Together they let the Solo PRO bond cellular connections for live streaming, which needs an active LiveU LRT service and mobile data. Neither is part of this kit. The kit also includes the breakout cables, a sleeve, the power supply and a shoulder strap.

The encoder

The Solo PRO SDI is a compact bonded encoder that streams up to 4Kp60 in H.264 or HEVC. It takes HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI inputs. LiveU Reliable Transport (LRT) bonds the available connections and adapts the video bitrate to the network. The Solo PRO has two USB ports that each power an external modem, plus one Wi-Fi and one Ethernet interface. It weighs just over 900g, has an extended internal battery and takes an external battery over USB-C.

The two modems plug into the Solo PRO's USB ports.

The case

The MAX430 is a watertight hard case made in Italy by Panaro, rated IP67, with an automatic pressure release valve and double-throw latches. Its internal size is 426 x 290 x 159mm. It's sold as the MAX430 custom hard case and foam for the LiveU LU300S and Solo PRO.
