The Fujinon ZK25-300mm T3.5-3.85 Cabrio Premier is a 12x zoom PL-mount lens for Super 35mm single-sensor digital cinema cameras, spanning the film and ENG worlds and supporting 4K production. The long zoom range covers medium-wide to long shots without a lens change, and, like the rest of the Cabrio Premier line, its barrels are geared for an interchangeable ENG-style digital drive unit — letting the same lens run in a deliberate cine set-up on a dolly or jib, then switch to fast ENG-style operation without a rebuild.

T3.5 aperture held across almost the full zoom range

The lens holds its maximum T3.5 aperture from 25mm to 273mm and loses less than half a stop by 300mm (T3.85), minimising the iris ramping that would otherwise show up during a continuous zoom. Nine iris blades sit behind that aperture, and the lens carries a 31.5mm-diameter image circle.

Reconfiguring for ENG with an optional digital drive

The focus, zoom and iris barrels are geared to the industry-standard 0.8 film pitch, giving an interface for an optional, removable ENG-style digital drive unit. Attached, it converts the lens to an ENG configuration with a zoom rocker switch and 16-bit encoding, controllable via a wired or wireless controller from Fujinon or a compatible third party.

Camera data and power over the PL mount

Electrical contacts built into the rear PL mount share Arri LDS and Cooke /i Technology lens data with the camera, alongside power and control connections to the camera body.

Built for continuous zoom work

The focus ring turns through 280 degrees for accurate adjustment, while the 120-degree zoom rotation stays consistent with the rest of the Cabrio line. A macro focus function and a flange focal distance adjustment are built into the lens.
