Covering the wide end of Fujinon's Cabrio Premier range, the ZK14-35mm T2.9 is built to PL mount for Super 35mm digital cinema cameras. It pairs cine-lens optical handling with an ENG-style detachable drive unit, letting a single lens move between traditional cine and broadcast-style shooting without a change of accessories — a practical wide option alongside the longer Cabrio Premier zooms on the same production.

Constant T2.9 aperture at the wide end of the range

The lens holds a constant T2.9 to T22 aperture across a nine-blade iris for natural-looking bokeh, and its 31.5mm-diameter image circle covers sensors up to Super 35mm.

A drive unit built for quick ENG-style reconfiguration

The focus, zoom and iris barrels are geared to the industry-standard 0.8 film pitch, providing an interface for a removable ENG-style digital drive unit — a handgrip with a zoom rocker switch and 16-bit encoding, controllable via a wired or wireless controller from Fujinon or a compatible third party. A digital auto-aligning system calibrates the drive to the zoom, focus and iris gears on attachment, and power reaches the lens through an external connector or the PL mount's hot-shoe interface.

Camera metadata via LDS and /i Technology contacts

Electrical contacts built into the rear PL mount share Arri LDS and Cooke /i Technology lens data with the camera, and the lens can be driven by cinema-industry controllers as well as by Fujinon's own wired and wireless controllers.

Glow markings and a macro function for the field

The focus barrel turns through 200 degrees for fine adjustment, with a macro focus function and a back-focus (flange focal distance) adjustment mechanism built into the PL mount. Barrel markings switch between metric and imperial in the field and glow in the dark for low-light work.
