The Fujinon GF32-90mm T3.5 PZ OIS WR is the first power zoom lens in the GF lineup, designed alongside the GFX ETERNA 55 for Fujifilm's large-format GFX sensor. It covers 32-90mm — a 25-71mm full-frame equivalent — holding a constant T3.5 aperture across the whole zoom range, the standard-to-tele half of a power-zoom pairing built specifically around the GFX system's larger-than-full-frame image circle.

Built for the large-format image circle

The optical path uses 25 elements in 19 groups, with three ED elements and three aspherical elements, a 13-blade iris and a rear-focus system — a design built specifically to resolve across the GFX system's large sensor rather than adapted down from a full-frame formula.

Stabilised for handheld and documentary work

Optical image stabilisation (OIS) is built into the lens for handheld and documentary-style shooting, letting the lens move off a tripod without the image circle's extra resolving power going to waste on a shaky frame.

Cine-native control

A power zoom lever with mode switching sits on the lens, and zoom can also be driven from the GFX ETERNA 55 body itself, so the operator can choose whichever control point suits the rig. The focus ring rotates through 200°, and 0.8M-pitch gears on the focus, zoom and iris rings accept standard follow-focus systems and lens motors already in a crew's kit.

Size and weather sealing

The lens runs approximately 222mm long and approximately 2.1kg, and is dust- and weather-resistant down to -10°C, keeping it usable on location shoots where a large-format camera would otherwise stay indoors.
