The MD-HX is a miniature HDMI/SDI cross converter — a compact independent device using the same proven cross-converter technology as Decimator's larger MD-DUCC. It takes an HDMI and a 3G-SDI input and can cross-convert either signal to the other, with a built-in 2K motion-adaptive scaler and frame-rate converter supporting 245 input formats and 41 output formats, including 204 VESA input formats. Outputs comprise one HDMI port and two pairs of 3G-SDI outputs. As with Decimator's other converters, no computer or DIP switches are needed — a small LCD screen and four buttons handle all menu functions, and the threaded locking power connector guards against accidental disconnection.
