The MD-DUCC is a compact Down/Up/Cross Converter for use on location or in the studio. It takes a single SD/HD/3G-SDI input with automatic signal detection and fans it out simultaneously to an SDI loop-through output, a second SDI output, an HDMI output, and component/composite (CVBS)/Y-C outputs — maintaining a full 10-bit data path throughout. True up-conversion (SD to HD) and down-conversion (HD to SD) is built in: you select the output format you want and the converter handles detection and conversion automatically. It supports motion-adaptive de-interlacing and aspect-ratio conversion between 16:9, 14:9 and 4:3, with 16-channel audio metering, a graticule generator and text overlays. L/R AES audio and GPI are carried over RJ-45, and the threaded locking power connector guards against accidental disconnection.
