<p>The Canon RC-IP300 is a compact IP controller for operating Canon PTZ camera systems in live multi-camera production. It scales to as many as 200 supported Canon PTZ cameras over IP, so one operator can control a large rig of remote cameras from a single position. A pan and tilt joystick, zoom rocker and eight control dials, including a dedicated focus dial, handle framing by hand, while 12 assignable User controls (three of them physical buttons) and up to 100 presets per camera cover repeatable moves and frequent adjustments.</p>
<p>A 3.5-inch touchscreen shows on-screen menus, live views and camera configurations, and can display four or nine IP camera feeds at once in 2x2 or 3x3 multiview, with touch focus and AF frame positioning on compatible cameras. The RC-IP300 uses Canon's XC protocol over IP and NU or Standard Communication protocol over its RS-422 serial connection, and can drive Canon Auto Tracking and Auto Loop applications and output-video crop framing on compatible cameras. USB Type-A and D-sub 9-pin GPIO ports support integration with wider production systems, and power comes from PoE or the included power adapter.</p>
