The Canon CR-N300 is a 4K NDI PTZ camera for remote-controlled, minimal-crew productions — houses of worship, corporate and conference rooms, courtrooms, streaming and multi-camera event work. Operated remotely, it lets one person run a camera, or several, from a single position, and sits alongside Canon's larger PTZ and cinema bodies on a multi-camera rig.

Image and autofocus

A 1/2.3-inch dual-pixel CMOS sensor and DIGIC DV6 image processor drive UHD 4K capture, with Hybrid AF keeping focus fast and accurate when there's no operator on the camera. A 20x optical zoom, extended by 20x digital, reaches from wide to tight from a fixed mounting position without a lens change.

Built for live

Built-in NDI|HX2 drops the camera straight into an existing NDI network without a separate licence, and PoE+ carries power and data over a single cable to keep installs tidy. Pan, tilt and zoom move smoothly, from slow, subtle reveals through to fast repositioning between shots.

Outputs and control

Video runs out over HDMI, 3G-SDI, IP or USB Type-C, feeding a switcher, a network or a computer directly, and a 3.5 mm microphone input takes audio at the camera. It's controllable over IP, RS-422 serial, infrared or Wi-Fi, and pairs with Canon's RC-IP100 controller for hands-on pan, tilt and zoom.
