The Videohub 80x80 12G from Blackmagic Design is an advanced zero-latency video router that supports any combination of SD, HD and Ultra HD on the router at the same time, with 80 x 12G-SDI inputs and 80 x 12G-SDI outputs housed in a four rack unit frame.

See before you switch

Each of the 80 input BNCs carries its own LED to show an active SDI signal, and a large full-HD LCD lets you preview video before routing while clearly displaying routing labels and video standards. Redundant power and reference connections back the frame for continuous operation.

Two ways to route

Routing can be driven by direct button selection or a large spin knob, which uses an electronic clutch for precise control. External Ethernet control extends routing to a network connection, and SDI reclocking runs on every input.

Format range

The router supports all SDI video standards up to 2160p60, and up to DCI 4K60, spanning SD through to Ultra HD 4K on the one frame, with 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 video sampling and 32 channels of embedded audio carried on every route -- a single hub for facilities that need to move any format between any input and output without swapping hardware.

Software included

Videohub Mac and Windows software is included for router control from a connected computer, alongside the panel and Ethernet options built into the frame itself.
