The Videohub 120x120 12G Zero-Latency Video Router from Blackmagic Design is a large-scale routing hub built to centralise every SDI source and destination in a facility. It provides 120 x 12G-SDI inputs and 120 x 12G-SDI outputs, so any video input can be routed to any output -- or a single input can feed multiple outputs -- without clusters of cabling or complex patch diagrams to manage.

Every format, one router

As a zero-latency routing switcher, the 120x120 combines SD, HD, UHD 4K and DCI 4K video on the same frame, with support for video resolutions up to DCI 4K60. Both 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 video sampling are supported across the router, and 32 channels of embedded audio travel with the video through every route it makes.

Control from the panel or the network

Routing is driven by push-button selection, a knob, or an Ethernet connection, with Mac, Windows and iPad router control software extending that control to a desk, an office, or a tablet out on the studio floor. SDI reclocking on the router's standard BNC connectors regenerates the signal on every route it makes.

Built for demanding signal paths

The 120x120 sits well alongside multiple HyperDeck recorders for redundant mastering, sends video out to several streaming processors to feed parallel broadcast platforms, or adds extra inputs into an ATEM switcher -- the kind of central-hub role suited equally to a large studio installation and an outside broadcast truck.
