The Videohub Mini 6x2 12G Router from Blackmagic Design packs six 12G-SDI inputs, six 12G-SDI loop outputs and two 12G-SDI outputs on its back panel into a chassis just half a rack width wide, built for live production flexibility. It combines SD, HD, UHD 4K and DCI 4K video, with control over the I/O ports available from the front push buttons, the knob, or an Ethernet connection for automated switching. The front panel adds its own 12G-SDI input, which overrides rear input 6 whenever a new source needs routing on the fly, plus a 12G-SDI output that mirrors rear output 2 -- and a USB-C output, separate from the SDI I/O, that registers on a connected computer as a webcam for streaming straight off the router. Dedicated reference I/O ports lock the clean switch function to a Blackburst or Tri-sync signal, so switches land cleanly between frames, and an internal universal AC supply plus a separate 12V DC input with reverse-polarity protection can be used together for power redundancy, making the 6x2 a compact companion to the 8x4 in the same Mini range.
