Ten 12G-SDI inputs and ten 12G-SDI outputs sit inside the Videohub 10x10 12G Zero-Latency Video Router from Blackmagic Design, built into a compact 1RU frame that puts any video input onto any output -- or feeds one input to several outputs -- and does away with tangled cabling and patch diagrams. It handles any combination of SD, HD, UHD 4K and DCI 4K video, with multi-rate 12G-SDI connections covering up to 10 different video standards at once and support for resolutions up to DCI 4K60. Direct control comes from front-panel buttons with assignable shortcuts and a machined metal spin knob with an electronic clutch, backed by a 2.2-inch LCD that previews the live input before routing and lists sources alphabetically. Every output carries SDI reclocking to protect signal quality over longer cable runs, and the router pairs with the Videohub Master Control Pro or Smart Control Pro, with Mac and Windows control software included.
