The URSA Cine Immersive 100G is the first camera for live immersive production, adding a 100G QSFP28 Ethernet port for SMPTE-2110 live video output. Dual 8K RGBW sensors deliver 8160 x 7200 per eye at up to 90 fps with 16 stops of dynamic range, so the one camera handles shooting, post production and live production.

The fixed focal length stereo lens pair covers a field of view beyond 180 degrees, with built in 2, 4, 6 and 8-stop IR ND filters and monitoring for left eye, right eye, punch in or side by side on dual 5 inch 1500 nit HDR touchscreens. Blackmagic RAW records to the included 8TB Blackmagic Media Module in constant bitrate 5:1 to 18:1 or constant quality Q0 to Q5, with discrete per eye optical calibration metadata.

The 100G connection carries 2110 IP video in and out with PTP v2 timing and NMOS IS-04 and IS-05 discovery, alongside two 12G-SDI outputs, dual XLR audio inputs with phantom power and Tri-Sync and timecode reference. SMPTE 2110-22 compressed video supports Apple ProRes HQ, ProRes and ProRes LT with the optional URSA Live Encoder, and the camera data rate stays under 50 Gb/s so two cameras share a single 100G link.

Live immersive is already in production — the camera shot Spectrum Front Row, a series of live Lakers games in Apple Immersive during the 2025-26 season, now available on demand for Apple Vision Pro. Power is +24V DC through an 8-pin Lemo socket, with external control over a REST API, Bluetooth or the Blackmagic iPad app.
