The URSA Cine 12K LF 100G EVF combines the 100G camera with the URSA Cine EVF, adding a 100G QSFP28 Ethernet port for SMPTE-2110 live video alongside a dedicated viewfinder.

Live video and broadcast frame rates over 100G

The 100G QSFP28 Ethernet port sends and receives SMPTE-2110 live video up to 2160p60, and with the B4 lens mount for broadcast lenses the camera can deliver up to 240 fps for live sport and replay.

A large-format sensor and the URSA Cine EVF

The large-format RGBW 35.64 x 23.32mm sensor gives 16 stops of dynamic range, shooting 12,288 x 8040 in 12K 3:2 open gate at up to 80 fps with 16:9, 17:9, 2.4:1 and 6:5 formats alongside. The included URSA Cine EVF is a 1920 x 1080 OLED viewfinder with a -5 to +5 diopter range and six assignable shortcut keys, connecting over a locking USB-C link that carries power, data and video, and can trigger record and camera functions assigned to its VF1, VF2, VF3, Zoom, Exp and Record buttons.

Recording, mounts and monitoring around the camera

Blackmagic RAW records to the included 8TB Blackmagic Media Module in constant bitrate 3:1 to 18:1 or constant quality Q0 to Q5, with a PL mount fitted, a lockable EF mount included and built-in 2, 4 and 6-stop IR ND filters. Two 5-inch 1500 nit HDR touchscreens cover monitoring: the main fold-out screen plus a second screen at the right-side assist station, so crew can work around the camera without external monitors.

Connectivity for 2110 networks

Alongside the 100G connection, two 12G-SDI outputs and dual XLR audio inputs, switchable between mic, line and AES with phantom power, cover video and audio, with Tri-Sync and timecode reference. PTP v2 timing and NMOS IS-04 and IS-05 handle discovery and connection management on 2110 networks, with SRT and RTMP streaming built in over Ethernet, Wi-Fi or USB-C cellular data.
