The URSA Cine 12K LF 100G Body is the body-only configuration of Blackmagic's 100G-networked large-format camera, built for crews with existing accessories and media who want to rig it their own way.

A large-format sensor with a 100G live connection

The large-format RGBW 35.64 x 23.32mm sensor, with a 2.9 micron pixel pitch, delivers 16 stops of dynamic range, while a 100G QSFP28 Ethernet port sends and receives SMPTE-2110 live video.

Lens mounts and frame rates for live production

A lockable EF mount ships fitted, interchangeable with the optional URSA Cine PL mount, and an optional B4 broadcast lens mount lifts frame rates to 240 fps for live sport and replay.

Recording media and shooting formats

Blackmagic RAW records to the included Media Module CF, with two CFexpress Type B slots, and the camera also takes optional 8TB or 16TB Blackmagic Media Modules. Shooting runs to 12,288 x 8040 in 12K 3:2 open gate at up to 80 fps, with 16:9, 17:9, 2.4:1 and 6:5 formats alongside, and built-in 2, 4 and 6-stop IR ND filters.

Live IP video over the 100G connection

Set to SMPTE-2110 Live, the camera outputs real time IP video up to 2160p60 over the 100G connection, with the optional Blackmagic IP10 codec adding 2160p59.94 and 2160p60, PTP v2 timing, and NMOS IS-04 and IS-05 discovery and connection management.
