A single 12G-SDI input on the Teranex Mini SDI to HDMI 12G Converter auto-switches across SD, HD, 2K and 4K at 270Mb, 1.5G, 3G, 6G and 12G rates with reclocking, then outputs to full-size HDMI 2.0 up to 2160p60, automatically down-converting to whatever format the connected HDMI monitor supports — useful for using HDMI televisions as SDI broadcast monitors or feeding video projectors. A 12G-SDI loop output passes the source on to the next device. Eight channels of embedded audio de-embed to two channels of balanced analog on XLR or four channels of 110Ω AES/EBU, with the right-hand XLR switchable to carry timecode instead. Instant Lock stabilises the HDMI output, and 33-point LUTs load via the Teranex Utility for display calibration, with colour handled as YUV or RGB on the SDI side and REC 601 or REC 709 over HDMI. Setup runs from the chassis mini switches, USB or Ethernet, and power comes from the built-in 100-240V supply over IEC C14 or PoE+, drawing 16 watts; an optional Smart Panel adds an LCD, rotary knob and six buttons.
