Convert from 12G-SDI to HDMI. Supports all video formats including SD, HD, 6G and 12G-SDI rates and includes down converter when working with a HDMI monitor, which will select the best format it can support. Perfect for using HDMI televisions as SDI broadcast monitors and for connecting to video projectors.

The SDI input auto switches across SD, HD, 2K and 4K at 270Mb, 1.5G, 3G, 6G and 12G rates, with reclocking, and a 12G-SDI loop output passes the source on to the next device. HDMI output is a full size HDMI 2.0 type A connector supporting up to 2160p60. De-embed audio to balanced analog or AES/EBU formats and timecode output. Eight channels of embedded audio come out as two channels of balanced analog on XLR or four channels of 110Ω AES/EBU, and the right-hand XLR can be reassigned to carry timecode instead.

Also includes Instant Lock on HDMI output as well as 33 point LUT. LUTs load over the Teranex Utility for calibrating the attached display, and colour handling covers YUV and RGB on the SDI side with REC 601 and REC 709 over HDMI. Setup runs from the mini switches on the chassis or from the free utility over USB or Ethernet, and an optional Smart Panel adds an LCD, rotary knob and six setting buttons to the front. Power comes from the built in 100 to 240V supply over IEC C14 or from PoE+, drawing 16 watts.
