The StudioBridge 10G PWR bridges low-cost single-link 10G Ethernet SMPTE-2110 connections into redundant 100G Ethernet systems, converting and combining 8 channels of 10G Ethernet into a redundant pair of 100G QSFP28 connections. That lets 8 separate 10G Ultra HD devices plug straight into a SMPTE-2022-7 network, which sends two identical streams over separate networks and rebuilds each frame from whichever packet arrives first. Each of the 8 RJ45 ports also supplies 90W of PoE++, enough for a single unit to connect and power up to 8 Studio Cameras directly over their Ethernet connections. Video passes as 10-bit 4:2:2 YUV in Rec 709 and Rec 2020 with automatic HD and Ultra HD detection up to 2160p60, carrying 16 channels of embedded audio on every 2110 IP stream on both the 10G and 100G sides. Dual redundant AC power supplies, a separate 1G NMOS control port with PTP v2 timing, and a built-in 2.2 inch LCD with search dial round out a unit built for dependable broadcast-rack operation; USB-C handles configuration and firmware updates.
