The StudioBridge 10G PWR bridges low cost single link 10G Ethernet SMPTE-2110 connections into redundant 100G Ethernet systems. It converts and combines 8 channels of 10G Ethernet into a redundant pair of 100G QSFP28 connections, so 8 separate 10G Ultra HD devices plug straight into a SMPTE-2022-7 network — two identical streams over separate networks, rebuilt frame perfect from whichever RTP packet arrives first.

Each of the 8 RJ45 ports supplies 90W of PoE++, enough to run converters and cameras directly over their Ethernet connections — a single unit can connect and power 8 Studio Cameras. Dual redundant AC power supplies and a separate 1G NMOS control port keep it dependable in broadcast racks, with NMOS IS-04 and IS-05 discovery and PTP v2 timing.

Video passes as 10-bit 4:2:2 YUV in Rec 709 and Rec 2020, with automatic HD and Ultra HD detection and 16 channels of embedded audio on each 2110 IP stream over both the 10G and 100G sides. Standards run from 720p50 through 1080i, 1080p and PsF to 2160p60, with full SMPTE 2110-40 ancillary data including RP 188 timecode, closed captioning and HDR metadata.

A built in 2.2 inch LCD and search dial let you scrub between inputs and monitor video, audio, standard and timecode from the front panel, with USB-C for configuration and firmware updates. The optional Blackmagic IP10 codec adds 2160p59.94 and 2160p60 as 2110 IP video.
