The Blackmagic Design MultiDock 10G is a fast 4-slot SSD dock for editing directly from your media disks, giving access to up to four 2.5-inch SATA III 6 Gb/s SSDs over a single 10 Gb/s USB Type-C interface. An independent SATA driver chip on each slot keeps transfer speeds high across all four disks at once, and the four slots can be configured as flexible RAID storage. It connects straight to a Mac or Windows computer with a USB-C port, with no software to install, and the disks appear directly to popular NLEs for editing off the media itself. Housed in a 1RU all-metal rackmount design, the MultiDock 10G also pairs with the optional HyperDeck Extreme 8K, whose matching USB-C External Disk port gives a seamless recording and playback workflow between the two.
