The StudioBridge 100G bridges a single 100G Ethernet SMPTE ST 2110 connection into a redundant dual 100G broadcast system. Two 100G QSFP28 network ports are joined by two 100G QSFP28 camera ports, which can be combined provided total bandwidth stays under 100 Gb/s — so two cameras such as the URSA Cine 12K 100G can feed a redundant broadcast network through a single unit. Each 100G pair carries eight Ultra HD or HD senders and receivers, every stream with 16 channels of embedded audio, in 10-bit 4:2:2 YUV across Rec 709 and Rec 2020, with automatic detection of HD, Ultra HD and 4K up to 60fps. Two 10G SFP optical fibre ports connect accessories, and a 1G RJ45 port carries NMOS control, configuration and firmware updates. Compliance covers SMPTE 2110-20, 2110-21, 2110-30 and 2110-40 plus 2022-7 redundancy, with PTP v2 timing. A built-in 2.2 inch LCD with search dial, a three-button control panel and spin knob handle day-to-day monitoring, backed by two internal 100-240V AC power supplies on separate IEC C14 inputs.
