The Blackmagic Design Streaming Encoder HD (Web Presenter HD) is a compact desktop unit that takes any SDI video input up to UHD 4K and streams it to the internet over Ethernet or by tethering to a 5G or 4G phone via USB-C. Streaming runs on the H.264 codec via RTMP, up to 1080p60, with SDI and HDMI monitor outputs showing live ON AIR status, input bit depth and stream quality, embedded audio status, and video and audio history, trend graphs and meters. The same USB-C port presents the unit to a computer as a webcam output, or tethers to a 5G/4G phone for mobile data, broadcasting on webcam-compatible software such as Skype, YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Twitch and Microsoft Teams across Mac, Windows, Linux and Chrome OS. An SDI loop output, 10/100/1000 Ethernet, redundant AC and DC power inputs, and compatibility with the ATEM Streaming Bridge option round out the unit.
